Convocan a premio Cemex - Tec de desarrollo sostenible

Con la intención de buscar propuestas innovadoras que impulsen el desarrollo de comunidades sostenibles y elevar la calidad de vida de sus habitantes, se lanzó la segunda edición del premio Cemex - Tec Transformando Comunidades, el cual premia con un fondo de 400 mil pesos para detonar el proyecto ganador.
La convocatoria, que lleva como eje temático el “Urbanismo Inclusivo” se dirige a estudiantes universitarios de todo el país, de escuelas públicas o privadas, pudiendo participar en equipos multidisciplinarios de entre 3 y 5 miembros, de la misma universidad, contando al menos con un estudiante de Arquitectura, de Urbanismo o de Ingeniería Civil, además de incluir a al menos un estudiante de las áreas económico administrativas y otro del área social – humanidades.

En su primera edición, realizada el año 2011, en la que sólo fueron convocados estudiantes de los campus Tec del país, un proyecto de Jalisco obtuvo el tercer lugar, con el proyecto Green Line: Centro Ecoturístico Ferrería de Tula, comunidad del municipio de Tapalpa.
El diagnóstico de la situación de la localidad fue que actualmente se ve afectada por diversas problemáticas arraigadas debido al estancamiento de la economía, a la existencia de pocas fuentes de empleo, a la ineficiencia de servicios públicos básicos, al deterioro ambiental por la tala inmoderada, a caminos saca cosechas en mal estado y al mal manejo de residuos y aguas negras.
El proyecto Green Line propuso entonces hacer de Ferrería de Tula una comunidad de actividades ecológicas al aire libre aprovechando los recursos y paisajes naturales del lugar y evitando la urbanización desordenada.
Promueve además el uso de vehículos no motorizados creando una infraestructura amigable con el medio ambiente, y cómoda para el peatón, a través de circuitos de andadores peatonales y ciclopistas. Esta infraestructura contará con nodos de descanso y nodos de actividades recreativas adecuados para distintos tipos de usuarios.
Los parámetros de diseño principales de este proyecto se propusieron con un interesante enfoque visual y de acuerdo a criterios de seguridad, accesibilidad y movilidad.
Entre los objetivos de estas propuestas, está el disminuir el índice de migración de Ferrería de Tula a través de las actividades económicas generadas por el programa y la creación de empleos. Así como atraer el turismo, y promover un sistema de convivencia familiar y deportiva. Haciendo de la naturaleza y el paisaje, el actor principal.
